		<description>Fair enough, I guess. If I were ever in a position where I am choosing whom to hire, basic math skills would play into my decision. Not like a painter needs to worry about it much, but a cashier? Basic skills are expected.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve got a fair number of thoughts on the topic, but ultimately it boils down to having the freedom of not having think.  If you can get by without it, why bother.  It&#039;s not like there&#039;s a mathematical cave bear that devours the innumerate</description>
