We have a financial program host on CNBC named Dennis Kneale who claims that saying ‘twenty-ten’ will save the US over 16 million hours vs saying ‘two thousand ten’. I say skip the twenty altogether. Thanks for visiting.

I’ve heard it referred to as the naughties a bit here in Australia.

Is it going to be twenty ten and so on from now on? Two thousand and ten is so cumbersome and I have so little spare time.

I call it “The Lost Decade.”

I believe I saw this on the NY Times or CNBC so I can’t claim it’s my idea, but I think that sums it up well.
