Just found your site and find it very interesting. I’m retired at 64 and enjoy reading about money, taxes, and investments. You have a day job and still do a blog etc. Wow, I appreciate your effort and hope you enjoy your labors.

Joe, Why is it that my 401K makes a distinction between post 2006 and pre 2007 contributions? Does it have anything to do with future taxes or the amount of fees that can be charged.. Thanks in advance…Buck

Interesting question, but I am unaware of the need to identify 2007 and beyond. Maybe another reader knows?
