If one was working and raising a family during the Carter years you will remember buy today because it will be more expensive tomorrow. My kids look at me like I am crazy when I tell them about looking thorough the canned goods to find the old cans selling for 20 percent less. My kids also raise their eyebrows when I tell them I got a 25 percent raise one year. We really do not want to go back to those days.

You’ve got it backwards. The 70′s (the Carter years) were a time of high inflation. We have the opposite now, a recession.
